My role as Safety Officer is to...To create awareness, through education and information, of the opportunities to provide a safer environment for kids and all participants of Little League Baseball. As safety officer, a Safety Awareness Plan is prepared and implemented which includes background checks for all volunteers, first aid training for coaches, field inspections and reports and even includes training in food preparation. By raising the safety awareness among ALL participants of Little League, safety will become a habit, and activities will become 'safer for the kids'. Let’s have a great season! Miles Yano
