A Message From The President....Little League Champonships, zero. All-Star Selections, none....
But, what Little League baseball did provide for me is life-long friendships and a passion for the game of baseball. For that, I am forever indebted. Thus, I begin my first year as your President of East Yorba Linda Little League. The 2012 spring season will be my family’s fifth year. I am the father of three boys, Trevor, Luke, and Nolan. When February rolls around each year, it seems we never leave Travis Ranch. Whether it is practice, game, or most important, socializing on the benches by the Snack Stand, we would not have it any other way. My son Trevor recently asked, “Dad, can I coach Nolan when he is Double-A?” That is 9 years form now. Trevor will be 17, potentially our 14th season in the league. I am looking forward to it all. As a manager the past four seasons, it has been a joy to aid in our children’s development. Fact is, winning is fun. Even more fulfilling is having the ability to mold each child into quality individuals by teaching sportsmanship, camaraderie, dedication, and diligence. All the while passing on my love for baseball. As manager, I consider each child as part of my family. As President, my family just got a whole lot bigger. My goal as President is to ensure that each player within our East Yorba Linda family has the best experience we can provide. That includes providing quality fields, uniforms, safety, coaching, and more. Feel free to stop me and introduce yourself. One thing you can count on. I will be there. Jason Secoda
