As the Fall Ball coordinator, my responsibility is to provide....A fun, learning and active environment for players to maintain and develop their skills in between the spring competitive seasons. We achieve this through a less structured, more relaxed and instructional game play format. There is minimal emphasis put on weekly practices and instead we strive to have our players in Fall Ball come with a “show up and play” mentality. My challenge is to reinvigorate the enthusiasm for our Fall Ball Program. We also continue to build partnerships with neighboring leagues to give our players a variety of competition and multiple venues to play at. I would like Fall Ball to provide a feel of “travel ball” to our players without the cost, time or travel commitments. Most of all I would like to see more of our spring players and coaches use the Fall Ball Program to make East Yorba Linda Little League to best and most fun place to play. This is my first year on the board and only my 2nd year in the league. My boys, Kyle and Ryan, have really enjoyed playing the game and making new friends along the way. I hope I am lucky enough instill in them my love for baseball the same way my father did with me. Ed Kirk
